Eligibility for ANM (Auxiliary Nurse Midwife)

• Minimum Age: 17 years on or before 31st December 2026.
• Maximum Age: 35 years.
• Educational Qualification:
  • The candidate must have completed 10+2 in Arts with subjects such as Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Economics, History, etc., along with English Core/Elective or Health Care Science – Vocational Stream.
  • Only female candidates are eligible for the ANM course.
• Health: The student must be medically fit.
• Additional Qualifications: Students who have passed the 10+2 Arts or Science examination conducted by the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) are also eligible to apply.

Eligibility for GNM (General Nursing and Midwifery)

• Minimum Age: 17 years on or before 31st December 2026.
• Maximum Age: 35 years.
• Educational Qualification:
  • The candidate must have passed 10+2 with Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) and English with a minimum of 40% marks.
  • Candidates with a Vocational ANM course (minimum 40% marks) or from a Vocational Stream-Health Care Science are also eligible.
