Eligibility Criteria for Jharkhand BSc Nursing 2025
BSc Nursing (Basic)
- Age Limit: Minimum age of 17 years as of December 31, 2025.
- Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed 10+2 with Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) & English with a minimum aggregate of 45% marks from a recognized board (AISSCE/CBSE/ICSE/SSCE/HSCE).
- Medical Fitness: The candidate should be medically fit for the course.
BSc Nursing (Post-Basic)
- Educational Qualification:
- Passed Intermediate (10+2) or equivalent from a recognized university, OR
- Completed 10+1 before 1986.
- General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) Certificate: Candidates must have obtained a GNM Certificate and be registered as R.N.R.M. with the State Nurses Registration Council.
- For Male Candidates: Male nurses trained before the introduction of the integrated course must provide proof of training in areas such as O.T. Techniques, Ophthalmic Nursing, Leprosy Nursing, and more.
📝 Note: Male candidates must have specific qualifications in lieu of midwifery in the above-mentioned nursing areas.
